About the area
About the area where Tsugumori is located
About 35 years ago, when the Asama Sun Line opened, I was impressed by the magnificent view of Saku Plain and the towering Yatsugatake mountain range beyond. Since then, I have always hoped to live in a place where I could see this view.
Now that I have had the opportunity to live there, I realize how wonderful this place is 24 hours a day.
The twilight of the morning, sunrise, midday, sunset in the evening, when the city lights come on, and even when the stars fall in the night sky.
It always gave me healing.
I would love to share the experiences I have gained from staying there.
That is the idea behind creating Tsugumori Stay. Please come and enjoy your stay.

- How to use the building
[About the kitchen]
Kitchen counters are made of a material that easily burns, so be sure to use a trivet when using hot frying pans or pots.Coffee beans and herbal tea are available next to the cupboard. All are provided by Tsugumori Cafe. Please use the grinder, dripper, kettle, etc. when drinking coffee. Please do not wash the grinder with water.
▷ How to brew delicious coffee
1. Grind the coffee beans in a mill. We recommend a medium to medium-fine grind.
2. Place the paper filter in the dripper. (Rinse it with hot water once to remove the filter's distinctive smell and make the coffee taste better.)
3. Place the coffee grounds in the filter and smooth them out. Pour in boiling water so that it coats the grounds evenly, then let it steep for 30 seconds.
4. Slowly pour in a circular motion, from the center to the outside and then from the outside to the center.
5. Repeat step 4 until you reach the desired amount, and then remove the dripper before all the water has drained out.Beans and water amount guide: 1 cup (120cc)...10g (approximately 1 cup using the included coffee spoon)
