Carrot cake made with local, pesticide-free carrots
While focusing on the ingredients for my curry, I discovered a delicious, rich-flavored carrot. It uses plenty of carrots, walnuts, raisins, and spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. It's a moist, healthy cake with no carrot-like flavor at all. For a Tsugumori-style treat, warm it slightly and pair it with a tangy fromage sauce. It's homemade.
